Giza 87 is the long-staple Egyptian cotton grown only on the Nile Delta — fibre length between 35 and 40 millimetres, the yarn it produces among the softest, strongest, and most lustrous cotton yarns in commercial production. The Apperelle short sock is hand-linked at the toe, ribbed at the cuff with a fine 1×1 rib, and finished without any visible synthetic fibre.
